Player One has an immediate opening for the position of Accounts Receivable Clerk
, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Accounting, Player One Amusement Group. This position is based at our Player One Amusement Group office located at 25 Enterprise Road in Toronto. Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Verifying and preparing daily deposits
- Updating Post Dated Cheques File
- Conduct collection calls for past due accounts and handle customer inquiries
- Verify credit card authorization forms
- Releasing accounts that are past due and over the credit limit
- Entering and finalizing customer payments in People Soft
- Performing AR Maintenance, Standard Billing, and Adjust Interface Errors
- Depleting rental and shipping sales orders
- Reconcile route deposits against the bank statement and CCX entries
- Generate CCX balancing reports, monthly reports to be used for JE
- Preparing monthly route Journal Entries, cheque requests from CCX, and backup files
- Forwarding requests to managers for approval and coordinating with A/P for payment
The ideal candidate will have:
- Filing all deposits and invoices
- Updating customer general information in PeopleSoft
- Printing and mailing customer invoices and printing and mailing customer monthly statements
- Other projects as necessary.
- A post-secondary education at the college/university level with 2-3 years of related work experience in Accounts Receivable
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfortable on the phone
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines
- Above average keying skills (60 words per minute or higher)
- Experience as a team player and be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Proven capabilities with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) at an intermediate level
- Experience with PeopleSoft would be an asset.
