The Finance department has an immediate opening for the position of Accounts Receivable Associate
, reporting directly to the Supervisor, Accounts Receivable. Please note: this is a maternity leave replacement opportunity for 14 months. The key responsibilities of this position include: The AR Associate will provide administrative and financial support in order to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate processing of AR. The Accounts Receivable Associate responsibilities will include, but may not be limited, to:
- Process billing into PeopleSoft system for AR customers and distribute accordingly.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding payment or billing in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide assistance to the team with month-end close.
- Entering Cash Receipts for our Accounts Receivable Accounts.
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts at month-end.
- Other additional tasks as required by the Supervisor.
Skills & Experience:
- University degree or College diploma in Accounting or Finance.
This job requires exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to work across multiple functions to resolve issues. The candidate must have strong data entry skills, and be detail-oriented, accurate, organized, self-motivated and have strong account reconciliation skills. The ideal candidates must demonstrate a positive attitude towards work, excellent communication and organizational skills. The candidate must have the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment, and can work well as part of a team. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office coupled with previous experience working in an Accounts Receivable environment are requirements for this role.
