Cineplex Digital Media (CDM) is a fully integrated, in-store digital merchandising provider with well over a decade of research, development and design experience. We provide strategically designed installations and customized creative to enable brands to effectively communicate with audiences in ways they never imagined. Using proprietary, state-of-the-art technology, and patented software, we have developed some of the world's largest and most complex digital merchandising networks.

The Cineplex Digital Media division of Cineplex Entertainment Limited Partnership currently has an opening for the position of Sr. Account Director , reporting to the Vice President, Client Services, Cineplex Digital Media. This position will be based out of our Cineplex Digital Media office located at 489 Queen Street, Toronto, Ontario.

We are looking for a seasoned professional who is armed with a sense of urgency, solid leadership skills and who is passionate about delivering digital solutions for our clients. PS - did we say you get to watch movies for free?

The successful candidate is a collaborative and creative problem solver with a minimum of 8 years' experience with senior account management, project management and team development. This role requires an individual who can provide exceptional client and relationship management, continuous thought leadership and sound fiscal management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and strengthen key client relationships through continuous thought leadership
  • Develop capabilities of Accounts team through leadership and mentoring
  • Financial oversight for portfolio including P&L responsibility, short and long term forecasting, budget reviews
  • Lead a robust client communication cadence, including status reports, contact reports, quarterly reviews and budget reports
  • Create new opportunities for account growth through deeper client collaboration and interaction
  • Lead all client projects/initiatives from conception through to execution and delivery
  • Contribute to project definition and scope, extracting client requirements and business objectives
  • Provide leadership, support and ongoing guidance and mentorship to project and support teams
  • Contribute to new business/client initiatives where applicable
  • Manage any client related post analysis and reporting needs
  • Initiate and lead process improvements for the department
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 8 years' experience in a similar role with account management, project management and team development
  • University or College Degree in relevant discipline
  • Proven track-record of growing and building long term, profitable client relationships
  • Experience in formulating and driving long-term strategic plans
  • Highly developed organizational, interpersonal, presentation, leadership, facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Grace and professionalism under pressure
  • Positive attitude with a genuine desire to drive business revenue growth
  • Previous experience developing and tracking budgets and managing a P&L
  • Ability to demonstrate teamwork and effective leadership skills
  • Proficiency in experiential and/or digital marketing
  • Experience in digital signage or media sales would be considered an asset
